God only wrote one book. He wrote his unchanging word sealed it with his seven seals and settled it in heaven for all eternity (psalm 119: 89) thus proclaiming that ‘heaven and earth shall pass away but my word shall not pass away’. Then comes along puny man in his sinful arrogance proclaiming that God’s word has become archaic and this out-dated word cannot be relevant for today’s educated sophisticated society. I humbly beg to differ as from day to day I witness our society rapidly deteriorating taking along with it every aspect of that in which man pride himself including the once beautiful and poetic English language. Man has sought license from the principalities and the powers of this world to confuse the foolish, to mislead the feeble minded and by any means necessary silence the faithful in regard to Gods ability to keep his promise of preserving his words forever as he promised in psalm 12: 6 & 7.

Perhaps it is our own fault that we like sheep are so easily deceived, because after realizing that with their scholarship and intellectual prowess they still could not comprehend the unfathomable things contained within the written word of God rather than appeal to the author of the book, who incidentally is the Holy Spirit, for help; they sought out carnal teachers, having itching ears, tell us what we want to hear, to enlighten them and unravel for them the truth and the profound mysteries hidden, way beyond unregenerate man’s ability to grasp, because it is written in a way that they corrupt minds are unable to seize the gems contained therein.

Of course you and I know that while the motive in a small number of cases might be sincere the method pursued is eternally futile because no one was found in heaven or on earth or under the earth that was worthy to loose the seven seals and open this book; no one that is except the Lamb of God, slain from the foundation of the world. Revelation 5: 1-5

But you also know how they felt about the Lamb when he was offered they shouted crucify him, crucify him, we will not have this man ruling and reigning over us, give us Barabbas and Barabbas was and still is a thief. Thus their shouts have echoed down through the ages as they stick their fingers in their ears and turn as it were their faces from him. The shout is becoming even louder and deafening today within the churches as they gather themselves together in large numbers and sing praises to their  gods during their magnificent worship rituals in adoration of the spirits they have embraced in this modern day as they cast away God’s word as the final authority on all matters of faith and doctrine.

But why do these modern day heathen continue to rage against God’s living word and imagine a vain thing and those that have set themselves up as authorities endeavour to establish themselves by replacing the word of God with their lifeless counterfeit, copyrighted words of men saying let us break their bands asunder and cast away their chords from us.

The words of the LORD are pure words: as silver tried in a furnace of earth, purified seven times. Thou shalt keep them, O LORD; thou shalt preserve them from this generation forever. The question has God preserved his pure word on earth? Can God preserve his word is a battle field on which we that believe his promise have been losing ground within the last century or so due to the influx of a large number of educated and influential teachers that have crept in unaware easily beguiling worshipers buoyed by the ready availability of technology into the modern churches armed with the claim that their understanding of God from the modern bibles has equipped them with the tools to face the world and conquer. So now the church has moved away from the foolishness of preaching the gospel to saves them that believe, to the contemporary man made wisdom found in psychology to prepare sinful men and women for eternity. Has it worked? I think not.

So is the word of God settled in heaven in the King’s English? Some like to argue that only the original manuscripts were inspired and we all know that these hand written documents did not last very long due to the wear and tear received from frequent use and so they were meticulously copied over and over years after year letter for letter word for word by scribes down through the ages in man’s effort to maintain the integrity of God’s word for future generations. The Old Testament was hand written primarily in Hebrew. Perhaps Greek may have been the language used in heaven because that is the language in which the New Testament for the most part was hand written. I of course am adventurous enough to go out on a limb and declare that God invented a beautiful language called English filled with thees and thous in eternity and wrote the old and New Testament in this language way before the world began hence giving to us the authorized version on which we have depended for the last four hundred years. English by the way is the seventh and final universal language that we have had since the world began and as many of you already know; the last shall be first and the first last.

The English language has become quite corrupt in these modern days but in the early seventeenth century it was the most classical language ever written or spoken by man and the only one ever used for printing the complete bible from the confusion of Babel to this time and that is why the new translations cannot come near to the beautiful poetic strains and the melodic pronouncements found within the King James authorized version of the Holy Bible so much so that even babes are captivated by the enchanting wooing of its simple yet life giving words and are able to commit it to memory long before they can even speak or read.

So now I place before you the Holy Spirit written, eternally preserved, life giving word of God and say believe it and live forever. As in similar manner the wise men and sorcerers of the god of this world also present unto you all his corrupt versions cloaked in the lie, saying there is very little difference their modern perversions. They can also turn water into blood and staffs into serpents but I declare unto you that they cannot make lice or a way for the army of Pharaoh to pass safely through the Red Sea. God’s word can.

By Alfred D Smith 03/05/2011  the question

It all began with a question. It always does; a seemingly innocent question from someone that from all appearances, seemed to have her interest at heart and who from the position of authority from which he spake appeared to know something that she did not, something that sounded good, beneficial and progressive too her egotistical way of thinking and so began the avalanche of doubt, sin and death.

‘Hath God said’? When you sit back and think about it, it is actually a brilliant Question in its simplicity, subtle suggestiveness and apparent concern for truth, and a loaded question to boot. In road tennis it is the equivalent of a nice slow innocent looking serve that lands in your court, gently lobbing 8 inches away from your baseline line close to the left foot.

This is the question that got the bride of Adam reasoning. Wouldn’t it be really nice to know good and evil, and be considered wise, perhaps like this here serpent? Wouldn’t it be a thrill to be looked up to and be admired by all creation for one’s wisdom? One catholic priest informed me that the Roman Catholic Church has the power of decision as it relates to what is truth, in effect good and evil.

Life is filled with individuals and groups of individuals with apparently harmless, friendly Questions. These questions many times are only intended and designed to lead us down a path of doubt and uncertainty. I would like to get your opinion on the virgin birth usually means I would like to shape your opinion on this critical topic.

Question: ‘Do you believe in once saved always saved’? I know that the label says honey but the content of this jar is deadly snake’s venom so I rest my hand on my sword, the helmet of salvation must always be defended by the sword of the word and I always try to answers this question as sweetly as I can, ‘Yes sir, I believe that salvation is an eternal gift to this sinner from God through Christ’, while drawing my sword. What I have discovered is that while the wolves are prepared to attack a weak, struggling lamb they will usually think twice about a prolong and bloody encounter with a trained soldier.

Whenever they show up at your place of work, recreation or abode, smiling sweetly, well attired, looking confident and pretending to be concerned about your health and wellbeing, rest assured they are only after one thing, your eternal soul. You have one of three choices: Take flight like a whipped dog with your tail between your legs, and most of you, because you are painfully and in most cases unashamedly aware of your spiritual inadequacies take this option. Comforting yourselves with the worn out assurance, ‘I haven’t got any time to waste with those people’.

The other option is submission and co-existence which is another popular choice taken by many. ‘There might be some truth in what they are saying’ While you don’t agree with all they teach and anything they believe you respect them for their tenacity and faithfulness and as long as they leave you alone you have no problem with them. The problem with this approach is that the doctrine of Balaam is so infectious that to be slightly tolerant of it and it’s demand for compromise is to be totally corrupted by it: a little leaven, leveneth the whole lump it is written. 99% pure is not near pure enough The children of Israel found that out the hard way under the carnal hospitality of the nation of Moab and many of you from your wounds and symptoms have also.

Born for war

So now we are left with option three, the only one that have ever worked, put on the whole armour of God and go looking for the fight. I am always looking for a fight. I have no time for enjoying earth’s peace; we soldiers are only trained to fight, we are born for this war. I enjoy fighting, winning skirmishes, attacking the enemy with my only offensive weapon the word of God, and by the way it is sharper than any two edged sword.

Jude said in his single chapter epistle, ‘earnestly contend for the faith’. Jesus was always fighting, he is my hero, Jesus was the ultimate hero and he took on the powerful, established religions and religious leaders of his day. John the Baptist did not sit down and try to negotiate peace terms with Herod, the Pharisees or the Sadducees. There is no possibility or entertainment of the thought of co-existence; Jesus in Mathew 12 verse 30 did non minx his word but cast down the gauntlet when he said, ‘He that is not with me is against me; and he that gathereth not with me scattereth abroad’.

The question that he was asking me was did I have any proof that the 1611 authorized version of the bible was the only provided word of God. His smugness suggested that he felt that he had proof that it wasn’t. What I knew from his question was that although he was quoting from it he could just as easily deny it when it suited him. I find most people are like that, they will use it to support their position but they will deny it when it suites their purposes.

I told him that the intense hate that the Devil and his crowd has for this 400 year old book was sufficient proof that it was the word of God. I hastily informed him that every new perversion that the world brings out, and there have been many since the 1881 failed attempt to revise the 1611 King James authorized version, over 120 and counting, are are compare in their marketing pitch to the despised authorized  version just like every new false Messiah that has shown up over the years is compared to the real Messiah Jesus Christ. I told him that without any sponsorship from the world dependent only on the power of the Holy Spirit it is still outselling, out influencing and outlasting all the new perversions.(I have no proof about the outselling part but I said it any way just to make him madder.)

He told me King James was a bloody murderer so that any book that he authorized had to be a book of murderers, and then he quoted a verse from this same despised book to support a point that he wanted to make.

Later that day God call me and asked me, ‘Fred, where art thou?’ I told him ‘Lord, I am fighting a war of faith in this sin cursed world. I am fighting this heated battle with the weapon that you gave me dressed in the armour that you hath graciously provided’. He told me ‘lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world’. I said Amen and now even more energized marched back to the battle front.

Introduction

Romans chapter 12 verses 1& 2: I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service. And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.

For this Year 2011 the leadership of the Ellerton Wesleyan Holiness church has chosen to go forward with using the theme ‘Living the life of Sacrifice’ which theme is built on that of the previous year ‘living the disciplined life’. God’s people, from the beginning of time have been required and at various times down through the years, not only to make sacrifices of one kind or another but believe it or not to be sacrificed; Romans chapter 8 verse 36: As it is written, For thy sake we are killed all the day long; we are accounted as sheep for the slaughter. So when we are called upon to be sacrificial in our lifestyle, this theme fits in perfectly with our faith as handed down through the years to us.

Many of us, in a detached sort of way, have no problem with this concept of sacrifice provided it be of limited discomfort, within our control and does not significantly impact on our day to day life. However the reality of saints living daily in a hostile, ungodly and to make matters worse religious environment is such that the sacrifice that we would be required to make, to make a difference is often a higher cost than we would chose to pay so compromise is a more preferred choice.

Holding a biblical position on issues that require us to take an unpopular stand instead of drifting with the tide can cause us to end up on the wrong side of popular opinion. While we know that the world and the worldly will resent our stand, the pray is that by the grace of God they will respect us enough not to burn us at the stake or feed us to the lions as was done in the past to thousands of saints.

The Church, as we all should know, began with the most prominent, priceless and potent sacrifice in the history of the human race when Jesus Christ, our Lord and Saviour, was condemned by the Jewish religious crowd and crucified by the Roman rulers on the cross at a place called Calvary; one man laying down his life for the whole world.

Relevance & Efficacy

Sacrifice therefore, has to be taken in the proper perspective in order to understand its relevance and appreciate its efficacy. One of the best ways to do this, I have found, is to view it from the vantage point of bible history.

Bible history states that God made man in his likeness and after his image from the dust of the ground on the sixth day of the week of creation. When, however it was time to get him a help meet, he did not go back to the dust of the ground but instead he went into the body of the man and removed one rib. Because of the giving up, the sacrifice if you please, of this rib we have the crowning off of this glorious day of creation, the coming into being of this most irresistible creature; the woman Eve causing Adam to declare “This is now bone of my bones, and flesh of my flesh: she shall be called Woman, because she was taken out of Man. Therefore shall a man leave his father and his mother, and shall cleave unto his wife: and they shall be one flesh.” This also allowing God to proclaim that this day’s work was not only good but very good.

This most attractive bride of Adam soon encountered the diabolical attention of the subtle Serpent who was able to trick her into picking and eating the forbidden fruit from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil that would bring sure death.

Enter the deceiver

The convicting argument that the serpent was able to put forward to Eve, the bride of Adam, when he the flatly suggest that God was less than sincere when he had promised sure death as a result of eating the fruit of this tree in the middle of the garden was at the heart of the deceit that led to this most pivotal event in the history of the human race for she believed him rather than God.

Adam then expecting the worse after she picked the fruit and ate it chose to take on the role of saviour of his dying bride whom he must have loved with an unspeakable love when he casually, deliberately without any temptation ate of the forbidden fruit of sure death and sacrificed the comfort of a perfect and secure environment for that is what The Garden of Eden was at the time. He also sacrificed his lordship of the earth because he was made by God to subdue it and have dominion over the birds of the air and fish of the sea, contrary to popular opinion he also fatally ruined the image and likeness of God in which he was created. Added to that he forfeited his sinless nature for up until that point in time he was a sinless creation, and fourthly he sacrificed the fellowship that he had enjoyed with God. Why? To be with his beloved bride Eve in her time of need.

Jesus the last Adam our merciful, loving Saviour also willingly sacrificed these same four things in order to be the Saviour of the world and to redeem his bride The Church. He left heaven, a perfect environment, made himself of no reputation by taking on human flesh though he was equal with God, became sin for us though he himself could not sin and gave up fellowship with the Father and the Holy Spirit when he was carrying our sin. “My God, My God, why hath thou forsaken me?” Hallelujah! What a saviour!

When God came into the garden in the cool of the day and call Adam he found him and eve cowering in fear, scantily attired in clothing made from fig leaves and in desperate need of the solution to this grave problem in which they found themselves. God’s Justice demanded death for this man because he had promised him death if he ate of the tree in the midst of the garden but his mercy and love demanded a solution. Our all wise God had the solution before the foundation of the world.

Death did come in the form of the innocent animals whose blood was shed as a substitutionary sacrifice and God took the skin and made clothing for Adam and Eve to hide their nakedness showing them mercy before evicting them from the garden and placing a no entry sign in the form of cherubim with a fiery, flaming sword at the entrance.

Various sacrifices

Early in the history of man we also realised that some sacrifices are acceptable and some are repugnant to God. The two first sons born unto Adam and Eve were not born in the image of God but in the sinful image of their father Adam and were soon aware of their corrupt condition. At a given point in time they were made aware of their need as priests to remedy this situation therefore both decided to go before God presenting sacrifices for sin.

Abel who was a keeper of sheep sacrificed a lamb, probably the best male lamb that he had in the flock and God respected this offering so much that he accepted it and Abel was declared righteous on the basis of this act of faith. So we see this pattern of God borne out in the consistency of the scriptures that continue through the centuries in support of the much railed against bible principal: without the shedding of blood there’s no remission.

Cain who was a tiller of the ground put together the most beautiful array of products from his garden that he could, convinced no doubt that the sheer magnificence of this display supported by the combination of colours and irresistible smells would be so impressive that God would have no choice but to accept it. God, however, rejected it forthwith and boy Cain was mad enough to be tied. He just could not see things God’s way. Well neither does practically all of Adam’s fallen race as we look all around us at the confusion of manmade religious practices or gaze back over the annals of time.

Abraham living sacrifice

We see Abraham called upon to leave Ur of the Chaldees the land of his birth, his home, his family and all that he had known all his life and go to a land that was promised to him by God where he would become the father of many nations. Then after waiting anxiously for many years for Sarah his wife to bear him the promised heir which she finally bore when she was 90 years old he was then told by God to sacrifice this same son the only begotten of Sarah his beloved wife on Mount Moriah.

Because human and other sacrifices was a common practice among the people of the day to the various acknowledged deities such as Moloch, Baal, Remphem, Ashtoreth and many others. This request was therefore nothing unheard of or out of the ordinary. On the way to this most awful assignment this young man would have grown aware from his father’s demeanour that something out of the ordinary was amiss for he said to him “behold the fire and the wood: but where is the lamb for a burnt offering?” And Abraham, mighty prophet that he was answered and said,” My son, God will provide himself a lamb for a burnt offering.” That must have given a spark of comfort to Isaac walking up that incline with that load of wood on his back very much like another young man who would make a similar journey in obedience to his father many years later. Thankfully for Isaac although God did not provide the promised lamb immediately he did provide a ram caught in the thicket for the burnt offering which must have been received with great joy and I do believe a considerable degree of relief.

The Blood

Another interesting narrative on the history, relevance, details and personal responsibility of sacrifice is that of mosses in his encounters with the mighty Pharaoh of Egypt. All of the gods of the great empire of the Egyptians had been exposed as incompetent frauds and put in their place by the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob as he rained plague after plague upon the land and people of Egypt for the sake of his people and yet pharaoh’s heart was so hardened that he would not grant them their freedom as was demanded. The stakes are now about to go up as we observe God’s righteous judgement and gracious deliverance of his people.

(a) On the tenth day of Nissan which is about to become the first month of the year for Israel, every household was to take a male lamb. Here we see God solidifying the significance of the male lamb. (b) Of the first year (c) without spot and blemish taken from among the sheep or the goats (d) he was to be kept up, separated and closely observes until the 14th day to make sure that he fulfilled all of the given requirements. (e) On the 14th day of the month the whole assembly of the congregation of Israel were to kill him in the evening (incidentally that same exact date and time was also when Jesus Christ the perfect spotless lamb of God died on the cross of Calvary many centuries later) and they were to (f) drain the blood in a basin take a bunch of hyssop and dip it in this blood, and strike it on the two side posts and on the upper door post of the houses, wherein they were to eat it. (g) They were to eat the flesh in that night roasted with fire, and unleavened bread; and with bitter herbs. (h)They were not to eat of him raw, nor sodden at all with water, but roasted with fire; his head with his legs, and with the purtenance thereof. (i) Nothing of him was to remain until the morning; (j) and that which remained of him until the morning was to be burned with fire. (k) He was to be eaten with the loins girded up, shoes on feet, staff in hand; and also with a degree of urgency because this was the sacrifice of the LORD’S Passover. (l) No stranger was to eat of it unless he was first circumcised. (m) In one house he was to be eaten; and the flesh was not to be carried forth out of the house but if the house hold was too little for the lamb he could be shared with the household of the next door neighbour if they were not too large. (n) Not one bone of him was to be broken. (o) No one was to go out at the door of his house until the morning.

All these requirements had to be put in place so that the children of Israel could with confidence wait with bated breath until midnight knowing that the Death Angel when he passed over the land of Egypt would spare their first born when he saw the blood of the lamb applied.

Human sacrifice

Achan the son of Carmi of the tribe of Judah was a soldier under General Joshua in the battle of Jericho and during the plunder of the fallen city he took a number of things which was not lawful for him to possess unknown to anyone and hid them under his tent. In Israel’s next campaign which was against the city of Ai God caused their enemies to prevail and put them to flight because of this. Achan was discovered after a process of elimination to be the cause of Israel’s humiliation at the hands of the enemy and he and his whole family were stoned in order to make things right again.

Paying vows

Judges chapter 11 verses 30 & 31: And Jephthah vowed a vow unto the LORD, and said, If thou shalt without fail deliver the children of Ammon into mine hands, Then it shall be, that whatsoever cometh forth of the doors of my house to meet me, when I return in peace from the children of Ammon, shall surely be the LORD’S, and I will offer it up for a burnt offering.

Jephthah was a mighty general in the days when the judges ruled Israel and every man did that which was right in his own eyes. The nation of Ammon had invaded the land and so he gathered his army together and went off against them. This vow that he made to God was definitely not a casual statement but one he may have thought was of major significance to the outcome of the battle. Unfortunately for Jephthah, his daughter when she heard of his victory was so overjoyed, that she came out in great celebration to meet him on his return home from the battle oblivious to the terrible vow made by her father. I know not who or what he expected would come forth out of his house but it was with great grief when the person was his daughter. He however, being a man of honor, kept his vow which would have been an extremely heart rending ordeal for all concerned as he went ahead and offered his virgin daughter as a burnt offering unto the Lord.

Obedience better than sacrifice

We have King Saul being rebuke by Samuel for not fully carrying out God’s command to utterly destroy Amalek with these immortal words, ‘to obey is better than sacrifice and to harken than the fat of rams’. In his campaign against this idolatrous nation of Amalek he was commanded by god through his prophet Samuel to utterly destroy everything in the city. Instead he spared Agag their king and the choicest of their livestock. His excuse for sparing the livestock was that they were to be use as sacrifice. God did not want the sacrifice of rams and sheep but obedience and faithfulness and that was made painfully clear to King Saul after that.

Peace Offerings

King David is confronted by the Angel of the Lord with a drawn sword, his sin was he numbered the people of the Lord and causes a plague to fall upon the children of Israel. As the people begin dropping like flies seventy thousand men lay dead. The angel comes to the threshing floor of Ornan the Jebusite where he and his four sons are there threshing wheat and Ornan sees him and hid himself. The prophet Gad was told by the angel of the Lord to tell David to set up an altar on the threshing floor of Ornan. Then David said to Ornan, Grant me the place of this threshingfloor, that I may build an altar therein unto the LORD: thou shalt grant it me for the full price: that the plague may be stayed from the people.

And Ornan said unto David, Take it to thee, and let my lord the king do that which is good in his eyes: lo, I give thee the oxen also for burnt offerings, and the threshing instruments for wood, and the wheat for the meat offering; I give it all. And King David said to Ornan, Nay; but I will verily buy it for the full price: for I will not take that which is thine for the LORD, nor offer burnt offerings without cost.

So David gave to Ornan for the place six hundred shekels of gold by weight. And David built there an altar unto the LORD, and offered burnt offerings and peace offerings, and called upon the LORD; and he answered him from heaven by fire upon the altar of burnt offering. And the LORD commanded the angel; and he put up his sword again into the sheath thereof. At that time when David saw that the LORD had answered him in the threshing floor of Ornan the Jebusite, then he sacrificed there.

Conclusion

As we look at all these instances of sacrifices made down through the years we see the righteous God presenting sinful man with a vantage point that he may find ways to relate to his justice, holiness, wrath at sin, mercy, power, amazing love and many other attributes through his son our Lord Jesus Christ the lamb of God that taketh away the sin of the world, our burnt offering, wave offering, meat offering, drink offerings, in short he is the ultimate sacrifice. Every type of sacrifice that we can find in the word of God was a mere foreshadow of what our lord and Saviour Jesus Christ did for us at Calvary and for those three days and three nights he descended into the heart of the earth and led captivity captive. The gates of hell could not prevail against him because he had and still has the keys of death and hell and have given us his saints the keys to the kingdom. Mathew chapter 16verses 18 & 19: And I say also unto thee, that thou art Peter, and upon this rock I will build my church; and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it (the rock). And I will give unto thee the keys of the kingdom of heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt bind on earth shall be bound in heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven.

Each saint as a priest is now required to present to God our bodies as a living sacrifice as he has presented himself in the form of his son for us, conscious always of the fact that we have been given the key to the kingdom by the king of the kingdom and what we bind on earth will be bound in heaven and what we loose on earth will be loose in heaven.

Introduction

From 1611 to 2011 many of us have had the priceless privilege of reading from the greatest ever book. First written in Hebrew and finally written in the English language the seventh purification (psalms 12 verses 6 & 7); we are speaking about The Authorised King James Version of the bible. This book effectively broke the strangle hold of the Vatican, releasing their octopus like grip over the English speaking world and brought the light of the glorious Gospel of Christ unto ordinary people that had come through some 1000 years of spiritual darkness and religious suppression otherwise known as the dark ages, presided over by Satan and His anti-Christian institution, The Roman catholic church and her allies. The protestant Reformation was built on the light they received at the arrival of this mighty book, commissioned by King James, into the English speaking world. Psalm 119:130 The entrance of thy words giveth light; it giveth understanding unto the simple. This book has a solid, unquestionable pedigree, reinforced soundly upon 400 years of withstanding attack after vicious attack from every quarter that the enemies of truth and righteousness have thrown our way. Starting mighty revivals in remote places that spread the wonderful gospel of Christ to other remote places worldwide where millions, including myself believed and saw the greatest miracle ever, the salvation of a lost sinner’s soul from an eternal hell.

Of course we should be aware that millions of saints have been slaughtered down through the ages, because they had placed their faith in the wonderful words of life contained within these pages and have miraculously been saved from the wrath to come by believing the Gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ which is the power of God unto salvation to everyone that believeth, to the Jew first and also to the Greek. Many of their stories can be found documented in “Fox book Of Martyrs”. I expect many more of us will be killed for the word of God sake as the heathen continue to rage, and the people imagine a vain thing. The kings of the earth set themselves, and the rulers take counsel together, against the LORD, and against his anointed, saying, Let us break their bands asunder, and cast away their cords from us.

There is no doubt what so ever that the evil one will continue in his tireless endeavour to replace this treasured book, God’s eternal word, within your hearts and your churches with one of his numerous copyrighted, subsidized perversions. Among the Sheep, for God does refers to us as sheep he being our shepherd, in Psalm 23, there are scattered many Goats, persons who would rather stand on their own individual pebble or favourite stone in the midst of the storm rather than the solid unmovable rock of the proven, preserved word of God and the enemy has been very happy to provide these little stones for them. Every new per-version, that is presented to us is accompanied by the outrageous claim that it is Just as good as or better than the storm tried, time tested, Holy Spirit powered Authorised version and many of you are so gullible like Mother Eve, you swallow his old lie; hook, line and sinker; yet we see the fruit of these perversions that are based on the carnal wisdom of corrupt man and the text of the revised version of 1881 that, incidentally, Thomas Nelson owns the copyright to. Churches worldwide are becoming increasingly tolerant of even the most outlandish sin while demonstrating increasing intolerance and disdain for the word and saints of God.

Matthew 6 verse 24 makes it clear that No man can serve two masters: for either he will hate the one, and love the other; or else he will hold to the one, and despise the other. Ye cannot serve God and mammon. 400 years ago when the authorized version of the bible broke through the darkness and set freedom before us, we learned that Salvation was a gift of God to rotten helpless sinners like myself that was received by grace through faith. 270 years later the bride of Christ has been informed by the writers of the revised version that it is now and drawn out process dependent upon ones efforts and morality.

Our only offensive weapon

Armour

We are told in the book of Ephesians chapter 6 verses 11 to 18 to put on the whole armour of God, which by the way, is not a suggestion but an order, a command if you please, from our commander in chief the Lord Jesus Christ. Every piece of the armoury, as outlined by the writer of this epistle, is defensive except the sword, which is the eternal word of God. Let me show you why this sword is so frightening to Satan and why he has put out billions of dollars to have it counterfeited. It is frightening because it is Quick, which means it is alive and powerful and packs an almighty punch and it is sharper than any two edged sword. The Holy Spirit gives it an ultra sharp laser edge that Satan cannot withstand nor imitate in any of his well put together perversions. Not even his best imitation can compare. It pierces even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart. Satan has been seriously stabbed in his evil head by this ultra sharp two edged sword and he knows what critical damage it can do to him and his kingdom of darkness. Do you remember when Jesus, after forty days and forty nights of fasting and communion with God was tempted by Satan in the wilderness and Jesus used the sword of the word like the skilled warrior that he is when he simply said, ‘It is written, Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God.’, piercing Satan to the core of his evil spirit. Shaken by this effective counter he shifted his attack and again got pierced by this Sword of the Lord in the hand of the master when Jesus again stabbed him with the Holy Spirit inspired, eternally preserved word of God: ‘It is written again, Thou shalt not tempt the Lord THY GOD.’ boy that must have been embarrassing; the execution was surgical and that strike was definitely precise and painful. In spite of the wounds that Satan was by this time carrying witnessed by the host of heaven, he attempted one final, desperate attack, hoping somehow for a better result this time and got slashed again right across his rotten head with the dismissive and belittling words ‘Get thee hence, Satan: for it is written, Thou shalt worship the Lord thy God, and him only shalt thou serve.’

Satan has never recovered from these fierce wounds and that is why he has expended so much effort through the ages in keeping this lethal weapon out of your hands and replacing it with one of his tame, useless imitations. It is so sad to see our young bright enthusiastic bible students returning from these bible colleges disarmed, doubt riddle and defiled by these ungodly so called bible teachers planted in religious institution all over the place which promotes the revised version over the authorised version. Proverbs 24 verse 21: My son, fear thou the LORD and the king: and meddle not with them that are given to change.

If you are perhaps thinking that only Jesus possess the skill and the power to use God’s word in such an effective way consider Deacon Stephen in the book of acts as he was confronted by that blood thirsty mob of adversaries lead by the clergy from the synagogue of the Libertines, and Cyrenians, and Alexandrians, and of them of Cilicia and of Asia and Stephen took the scriptures and beginning from Geneses right through to Malachi he let them have it. He was not afraid to use the word nor was he apologetic for these men though occupying high religious positions were the enemies of truth as so many are today. It is written in the account that they were not able to resist the wisdom and the spirit by which he spake. Wouldn’t you like to speak that way? You can, all you need to do is put away the counterfeits and get into the real Word of God and you can. Glory be to God.

Of course there is a price to pay as Stephen quickly found out because these people will not endure sound doctrine but will heap to themselves teachers having itching ears and they will turn on anyone that will dare make a stand for the truth. Stephen was accused of speaking blasphemous words against Moses, and against God: A crime punishable by death.

At his trial he used the word of God in such a mighty and irresistible way that it is written that when they heard these things, they were cut to the heart, and they gnashed on him with their teeth. But Steven, being full of the Holy Ghost, looked up steadfastly into heaven, and saw the glory of God, and Jesus standing on the right hand of God, and he said, Behold, I see the heavens opened, and the Son of man standing on the right hand of God. This is something that they did not want to hear and so they cried out with a loud voice, and stopped their ears, and ran upon him with one accord, (it is amazing how Satan’s crowd will unite under his banner against God’s people) and dragged him out of the city and they stoned Stephen, as he called upon God, and saying, Lord Jesus, receive my spirit.

At present, as you can see, Satan is going about this process of the replacement of the Authorized Version within the church, in the guise of an angel of light but the time will come when as a roaring Lion he will not only attempt remove any remaining fragments of this book that he despise and fear so much but with it, any saint that continue to cling to its irrefutable truths.

Amos 8:11 & 12 Behold, the days come, saith the Lord GOD, that I will send a famine in the land, not a famine of bread, nor a thirst for water, but of hearing the words of the LORD: And they shall wander from sea to sea, and from the north even to the east, they shall run to and fro to seek the word of the LORD, and shall not find it.

But how is this process of replacing the word of God within the churches accomplished so successfully and so quickly? Through the subtle, systematic disarming of unsuspecting bible students that pass through bible colleges and subsequent rearming of them with one of the Devil’s new counterfeits and later infiltrating them back into defenseless churches like wolves among sheep or perhaps goats. While men slept, the parable states in Mathew chapter 13: 25 to 30, the enemy came and planted the tares among the wheat. Men of God have been sleeping just like Jonah did even in spite of the raging storm. Oh yes Jesus did sleep in a storm too didn’t he but when he awoke and spoke the word, that word had power over the raging storm. Does your word have power?

When we awake we could find that our sword, the eternal word of God, has been taken away from us and now, all that we have are useless counterfeit words of men, garden tools with which to fight the enemy. Many are now fighting a losing battle with the corrupt and impotent New King James Garden tool from Thomas ‘the enemy’ Nelson or the, just as powerless, New International per-version by the International Bible society of Satan.

Zechariah 13:7 to 9 Awake, O sword, against my shepherd, and against the man that is my fellow, saith the LORD of hosts: smite the shepherd, and the sheep shall be scattered: and I will turn mine hand upon the little ones. And it shall come to pass, that in all the land, saith the LORD, two parts therein shall be cut off and die; but the third shall be left therein. And I will bring the third part through the fire, and will refine them as silver is refined, and will try them as gold is tried: they shall call on my name, and I will hear them: I will say, It is my people: and they shall say, The LORD is my God.

False Accusations

The 1611 authorized version of the bible is often maligned and accused of having glaring errors by some of its detractors; however when cornered and put on the spot, we challenge them to point out these imaginary contradictions, they are unable to expose one of these so called errors. Most of them are just echoing statements heard from those in opposition to God’s word and thus are proven liars and false witnesses.

This faithful book is accused of being old fashioned, out-dated and irrelevant to life and the challenges that confronts the world in these modern days yet the only persons that are found to be equipped to handle the complexities of life effectively today, are those saints that have put their trust in the mighty God of this book.

Those Christian psychologists that have infiltrated the modern church quoting and teaching from the modern per-versions have found themselves presiding over a significant increase in family problems and marriage failure. Issues of immorality among their growing numbers are glaring and growing, accompanied by a rapid escalation of decay and uncertainty within church families that they are incompetent to stem with these powerless, corrupt copyrighted bibles which are based on the wisdom of corrupt man, the 1881 revised text; powered by the hiss of the serpent and the love of money.

Pedigree

Yes this mighty old book was first printed in 1611 and has gone through four major editions to correct spelling and printing errors but it has never been revised because the 1611 original text has been so, sound and trustworthy. In 1629 a careful correction of earlier printing errors was made and this was the first edition. The 1638 edition reinstated words and clauses overlooked by the 1611 printers and amended manifest errors. The Final two editions were only seven years apart (1762 and 1769) with the second one completing what the first had started: the standardization of the spelling.

Motive of the translators

The Authorised 1611 was published in order that the ordinary man, the butcher the baker the candle stick maker, would be able to have the scriptures at his disposal and thus no longer have to rely on the ungodly rulers of the Roman Catholic Church to tell him what sayeth their Lord. This effectively exposed the farce of the mass and the practise of confession to a priest, un-biblical practices that had been used for many centuries by the Vatican to enrich their organisation and enslave through ignorance, superstition and religion the masses of every nation through the mass, thereby keeping them under the control of the pontiff, their representative of the prince of darkness.

It was not motivated, as is the case of the modern per-versions, by the desire of the copyright owners to make money, but instead to make disciples of all nations.

The Greek text, Textus Receptus is based on the vast majority (90%) of the 5000+ Greek manuscripts still in existence. That is why it is also called the Majority Text.

Textus Receptus agrees with the earliest versions of the Bible: Peshitta (AD150) Old Latin Vulgate (AD157), the Italic Bible (AD157) etc. These Bibles were produced some 200 years before the minority Egyptian codices favoured by the Roman Church.

Textus Receptus agrees with the vast majority of the 86,000+ citations from scripture by the early church fathers.

Textus Receptus is untainted with Egyptian philosophy and unbelief.

Textus Receptus is not mutilated with deletions, additions and amendments, as is the Minority Text.

Textus Receptus strongly upholds the fundamental doctrines of the Christian faith: the creation account in Genesis, the divinity of Jesus Christ, the virgin birth, the Saviour’s miracles, his bodily resurrection, his literal return, the cleansing power of his blood, the inspiration and the preservation of the scripture etc.!

Textus Receptus was – and still is – the enemy of the Roman Church. This is an important fact to bear in mind.

The Majority Text has been known throughout history by several names. It has been known as the Byzantine text, the Imperial Text, the Traditional Text and the Reformation Text as well as the Majority Text. This text culminates in the TEXTUS RECEPTUS or Received Text which is the basis for the King James authorized Bible, which we know also as the Authorized Version. We describe this text with the term "Universal," because it represents the majority of extant manuscripts which represent the original autographs.

the tree

The ability to differentiate between wheat and tares while they are in the process of growth by just observation must have been a virtually impossible task to the ordinary man according to the parable in Matthews 13 verses 24 to 30 however at harvest time the differences become very evident. Of course in order not to destroy the valuable wheat, the worthless tares were allowed to continue to grow as well. The new perversions of the scripture that have been planted among us by organisations like the Lochman foundation, Thomas Nelson, the International Bible Society and others are all the product of the same spirit of deceit and has flourish in this world because the enemy has planted them to conceal themselves alongside the proven word of God to delude those that know not and love not the truth. We saints however should not be so naive as to believe that everything that is accepted by the worldly within the church is acceptable.

Christianity, which is firmly founded on the undisputable bible teaching that Jesus Christ, the lamb of God that taketh away the sin of the world was crucified on the Cross at Calvary at the insistence of some very influential Jewish Religious leaders, the Sanhedrin, by the hands of the Roman Government; died around 3 pm in the afternoon of the 14th day of Nisan (Hebrew)or Abib(Aramaic) the first month of the Jewish year on the preparation day( John 19:14 Now it was the Preparation Day of the Passover, and not as is assumed by most bible teachers as the preparation day for the weekly Sabbath); Christ’s body was then taken down from the cross and buried in the new tomb of Joseph of Arimathaea on Wednesday evening before sunset, at the dawning of the day of the Jewish Passover which began at sunset, spent three full days and three full nights in the heart of the earth and arose from the dead triumphantly at the end of the third day as was prophesied in the scriptures and as he was continually telling those with whom he spoke though they understood him not, even to this day. Remember the sign of Jonah, three days and three nights in the belly of the whale. The foundation and the resulting edifice of our faith is established firmly in opposition to every extant religion including that of Roman Catholism that has enjoyed far reaching influence on many aspects of what Christians have and do practice down through the years. Christian reality has nothing what so ever to do with the pagan observance of Easter, Good Friday or the ridiculous teaching of Christ rising after one night and two days as is popularly thought and believed today.

For the first three centuries of its existence, the roman rulers did everything imaginable to rid the world of this dynamic life changing faith by both persecuting and destroying all those saints that held to it and also by the systematic and ruthless eradication of all their holy writings.

Instead of hindering the growth of this faith all that their efforts did was fan the fire of resolve of the saints and encourage them to go out into all the world and spread this wonderful gospel of Christ where ever they were scattered.

Even within the very heart of the Roman nation the Christian faith was making a significant impact on social life; not only among the poor but also among those in high positions, exposing and displacing many of their heathen religious beliefs by displaying the life changing power of God that accompanies faith in our risen Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. Due to the powerful testimony of these saints about Gods miraculous power of salvation many new saints were born into the Kingdom of God at Rome.

Christianity in Rome, however, encountered an old challenge which came in the form of the attempt by the leaders to accommodate some very ancient religious practices which were practiced by the Romans and had their appeal with many of those that came out of the Jewish culture for the adoption of heathen religions had been a thorn in the side of the Jewish nation for many Centuries. One of these was the worship of Ishtar the Queen of heaven. She was according to mythology the virgin mother/ lover/ temple prostitute of Tammuz the sun god who died and came back to life.

Jeremiah 7:18

The children gather wood, and the fathers kindle the fire, and the women knead their dough, to make cakes to the queen of heaven, and to pour out drink offerings unto other gods, that they may provoke me to anger.

Jeremiah 44: 18 to 25

But since we left off to burn incense to the queen of heaven, and to pour out drink offerings unto her, we have wanted all things, and have been consumed by the sword and by the famine. And when we burned incense to the queen of heaven, and poured out drink offerings unto her, did we make her cakes to worship her, and pour out drink offerings unto her, without our men?
Then Jeremiah said unto all the people, to the men, and to the women, and to all the people which had given him that answer, saying, The incense that ye burned in the cities of Judah, and in the streets of Jerusalem, ye, and your fathers, your kings, and your princes, and the people of the land, did not the LORD remember them, and came it not into his mind? So that the LORD could no longer bear, because of the evil of your doings, and because of the abominations which ye have committed; therefore is your land a desolation, and an astonishment, and a curse, without an inhabitant, as at this day. Because ye have burned incense, and because ye have sinned against the LORD, and have not obeyed the voice of the LORD, nor walked in his law, nor in his statutes, nor in his testimonies; therefore this evil is happened unto you, as at this day. Moreover Jeremiah said unto all the people, and to all the women, Hear the word of the LORD, all Judah that are in the land of Egypt: Thus saith the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel, saying; Ye and your wives have both spoken with your mouths, and fulfilled with your hand, saying, We will surely perform our vows that we have vowed, to burn incense to the queen of heaven, and to pour out drink offerings unto her: ye will surely accomplish your vows, and surely perform your vows.

Revelation 2:13 – 15 I know thy works, and where thou dwellest, even where Satan’s seat is: and thou holdest fast my name, and hast not denied my faith, even in those days wherein Antipas was my faithful martyr, who was slain among you, where Satan dwelleth. But I have a few things against thee, because thou hast there them that hold the doctrine of Balaam, who taught Balac to cast a stumbling block before the children of Israel, to eat things sacrificed unto idols, and to commit fornication. So hast thou also them that hold the doctrine of the Nicolaitans, which thing I hate.

The Romans rulers and religious leaders, realizing that their best efforts to wipe out the Christian faith had proven futile and that under persecution, this faith carried an appeal to the ordinary man that they could not contend with, made a strategic change. The decision was made to make Christianity the religion of the state. In their acceptance of Christianity and in making it the religion of the Roman Empire they were then faced with another delicate problem. What will they do with the many other religious practices vying for a share in the market? The book on which the Christians based their faith was the ancient Hebrew scriptures, painstakingly hand copied letter for letter by the Aaronic priests for many centuries from other manuscripts and the Gospels and the epistles which were also carefully hand copied by Messirite scribes. Textus Vaticanus was the book that was used to seduce the Christians, fifty bibles hand written in Alexandria Egypt on calf and antelope skins replete with numerous minor changes, deletions and additions. This text was never accepted by the Greek Christians because of the number of errors, omissions, deletions, contradictions and additions plus it included a number of spurious books. What they did with Christianity was what Balaam did to cause the wrath of God to fall on Israel. They established teachings that polluted the Christian faith by infusing various aspects of the diverse religious practices across their Empire while maintaining Christianity as the central theme. They quietly introduced the worship of The Queen of Heaven subtly changing her name from ‘Ishtar’ to ‘the virgin Mary’ whom they made a perpetual virgin thereby pulling the wool over the eyes of large numbers of the religious but unlearned. They also systematically adapted bits of Judaism, Egyptian and eastern philosophy, pagan rituals and idol worship into the church thereby deceiving the unsuspecting world that this was Christianity.

In Christianity all saints are a royal priesthood having the Blood bought authority to go before the throne of grace with boldness and confidence in the name of Christ at all times, making their request known. The Roman Catholic Church countered this by introducing and enforcing the doctrine of the Nicolaitans: the separation and exaltation of the priesthood over the laity. The laity being dependent on the priesthood continuously for a various so called sacraments in order to be in good standing with the church and to escape out of a place they invented called purgatory. They thus wrested the blood bought power of the saints away from them by making them subject to the whims and fancies of the church leaders. A Roman Catholic Church made its members outcasts in the world in continuous need of and dependence on their priest to confess to; rather than as God has made us through his Son the Lord Jesus Christ, priest in search of the outcast of this world until he returns.

Men Love darkness rather than light

Rejecting the word of the Lord, weather due to pride, arrogance or fear of what the people will say or do is the worse sin that a leader, weather he be king or pastor, can be guilty of because the Lord will not tolerate any one that places, pride, popularity and pleasing the people above obeying his word. 1Samuel 15 verse 26: And Samuel said unto Saul, I will not return with thee: for thou hast rejected the word of the LORD, and the LORD hath rejected thee from being king over Israel.

How did it happen that the Minority Text supplanted the trustworthy and respected Textus Receptus which triggered the great Protestant Reformation during which tens of thousands of true believers perished by flame, famine and torture? Who is behind this dangerous deception that has engulfed the Christian Church? Do you know? Do you care? Is it important? Does it really matter?

The ‘Minority Texts’ are also known as the Alexandrian Texts because they were produced in Alexandria in Egypt. The Minority Texts were rejected by the early Christians and also by all the Protestant Reformers of the 16th and 17th centuries. The Reformers, who were well aware of the existence of the Minority Texts, considered them unfit for translation purposes. These are very important points to bear in mind. Why did the early Christians and the Protestant Reformers reject the Minority Texts?

The answer is:

The Minority Texts were the work of unbelieving Egyptian scribes who did not accept the Bible as the Word of God or Jesus Christ as the only begotten SON of GOD!

The Minority Texts abound with alterations, often a single manuscript being amended by several different scribes over a period of many years; something the Aaronic priests and Masorites Scribes would never have tolerated when making copies of the Scriptures.

The Minority Texts omit approximately 200 verses from the Scriptures. This is equivalent to 1st and 2nd Peter. Pause and consider that stunning fact!

The Minority Texts contradict themselves in hundreds of places.

The Minority Texts are doctrinally weak and often dangerously incorrect.

Yet virtually every modern English Bible relies on the Minority Text as its underlying New Testament text in preference to Textus Receptus!

Modern translations abound with misleading footnotes, which do little else but cast doubt on the King James Version. Examples are:

The Hebrew of this line is obscure.

The meaning of the Hebrew is uncertain – or unknown.

Other ancient manuscripts add

Other ancient manuscripts omit

Other ancient manuscripts read

Other ancient manuscripts insert …

Some early manuscripts read…

The most ancient authorities omit John 7:53 – 8:11

The best manuscripts omit this verse. (e.g. Matt.17:21, 18:11, 23:14, Mark 7:16, John 5:4)

Some of the most ancient authorities bring the book (Mark) to a close at the end of Mark 16:8

Many manuscripts do not contain the remainder of this verse; example Acts 8:37

Many ancient authorities read…

Not found in most of the old manuscripts example John 7:53-8:11

Seems to me that this group of Scholars who did the revised version of 1881were a bunch of incompetent Quacks compared to the 1611 translators who never encountered any of these problems when they were translating from the received text.

Yet The King James Version of the bible is infinitely more accurate and reliable than ANY modern English translation on the market today. And that is why for 400 years it has had, and continues to have – the blessing of the Almighty God upon it and the ire of the enemies of truth: something no modern version or translation can come anywhere near. Most, after a decade or two, disappear from the book shops, only to re-appear some years later with a few alterations under a new name.

Market share

blac-money-scam

Success in today’s commercial, money centred world is measured, as the natural man is programmed in the modern learning institutions to do, in market share and financial returns. With the significant sums of money that is expended by those dark forces in high places to push the new international and the new King James versions of the bible, which by the way is translated from the 1881 revised text of Thomas Nelson, in their advertising campaigns the owners of the new International version of the bible have been able of late to boast of having a larger percentage of the market than any other version of the bible. However With the power of the Holy Spirit behind the 400 year old 1611 Authorized Version, despite its rejection by almost all the major bible colleges, leading church groups, modern media preachers and Christian psychologists etc.; and no advertising dollars to prop it up, is still the only potent, best loved, most trusted and most raged against book in the world today; Proof again of its unmatchable pedigree. One must either love it or hate it but it cannot be ignored. What a book!
